Andy's Appliance Repair has been locally-owned and operated in Lincoln, NE since 1971. Since that time, Andy's has grown to become the largest independent service company in the Lincoln area. Andy's not only has five fully stocked service vans, but also the largest inventory of appliance parts in the area.Andy's was opened in September of 1971 by George "Andy" Andrews and his wife Jane, after serving twenty-one years in the military. Their son, Terry, joined the company at that time, working part-time. He soon worked his way up to being a fully trained service technician and joined his father doing service calls. They worked side by side, 6 days-a-week, for 21 years. Jane was busy doing the books and seeing to the financial side of the business. In 1991, Andy and Jane retired to San Antonio, Texas. At that time, Terry and his wife, Debbe, purchased the business.
Debbe's first requirement was that Andy's buy a computer! This was a huge step for a small business. Terry and Debbe continued to grow the business by hiring more technicians. They now have ten employees, with over 90 years of experience!
Andy's technicians undergo training several times a year by national manufacturers. They have also received extra training to become MATTC and MCAP certified. Andy's belongs to many national organizations such as the United Servicer's Association and Professional Servicer's Association.
Andy's is proud to support many local charities and non-profits, such as the Child Advocacy Center, Friendship Home, and St. Vincent Depaul. They also donate regularly to sponsor several children's sport teams, scouting events, and many other important youth activities in Lincoln.
Andy's Appliance Repair has been serving Lincoln since 1971.
