But, even Samsung appliances will wear down and need repair over time. After doing countless Samsung appliance repairs in Omaha and Lincoln over the years, we’ve become very familiar with the brand. We store most Samsung appliance replacement parts in our warehouse, ensuring repairs are completed fast. Let’s take a look at some common Samsung appliance repairs we can do to help save you money and avoid buying a new appliance.
Samsung Refrigerator Repairs
Sometimes your water dispenser will stop working. There are a few reasons this can happen. We always start this repair by checking the water tube to see if it’s frozen. The tube is disconnected at the bottom of the door, and the air is blown through it. If the air doesn’t come out the other end, then we have a frozen tube. We defrost the tube and make sure your freezer temp is set on the proper temperature. Often, a freezer that is set too cold will cause your water line to freeze.
Samsung Dishwasher Repairs
A common problem with a dishwasher is a drain that stops draining. The first thing we examine in this case is the drain pump. The pump uses an impeller to force water through the drain hose. If the motor isn’t working, then the dishwasher can’t drain. A multimeter is used to test the motor. If the meter shows a dead motor, we’ll replace it.
Samsung Washer Repairs
You know you need a washer repair if it stops spinning. There can be three things that cause your washer to stop spinning. It could be your lid switch assembly, motor coupling, or drive belt. First, we look at your lid switch assembly. This part prevents your washer from spinning when the lid is open. If the assembly is broken, your washer will not spin.
Samsung Dryer Repair
Nothing is worse than have a load of wet clothes and a broken dryer – especially if you don’t have anywhere to hang them. One of the most common calls we get for dryers involves a dryer that has stopped turning. The drive belt is often the problem here. Over time, a dryer’s drive belt can wear down and break. A simple test you can do to see if you might have a broken drive belt is by reaching into your dryer and spinning the drum – if it spins easily, you likely have a broken belt that needs to be replaced.
