Clothes washer won't go through spin cycle

A customer called for appliance repair on their Kenmore washing machine as it would not go through the spin cycle. An Andy's technician arrived at the home and determined that the lid throw switch was not activating, causing the washing machine to stop spinning. The technician replaced the switch and tested the unit again.
