We Know DCS Appliances

DCS is a high-performance cooking brand that pioneered a new category of professional cooking products for the home in the late 1980’s. DCS products are powerful, distinctive, and built to last. They standout with the simplicity of their design. DCS products are built for professional chefs who want the same kind of equipment they use at work, and for people who want professional grade cooking appliances at home.

Frequently Asked Questions on DCS Appliance Repairs

Why won’t my DCS cooktop turn on?

Always check first to see if it’s plugged in. Next, make sure there is power coming to the unit by checking your circuit breakers. A damaged power cord may also be the problem. If you can’t find the problem call an appliance repair company familiar with DCS products.

Why isn’t my DCS oven getting hot enough?

If you find your oven doesn’t seem to be getting hot enough, you should take a look at the thermostats and sensors. If the temperature on your oven becomes erratic, your thermostat may have failed and need to be replaced.

Why doesn’t my DCS range door close?

If your range door isn’t closing first check to make sure that the hinge isn’t broken. Also check to see if anything is out of alignment. You might also have missing springs in the door that need to be replaced.

Why isn’t my DCS dishwasher turning on?

First check to see if the power cord hasn’t been dislodged, degraded, or damaged.  Another thing to look for is damaged or broken fuses. Also look to see if your circuit breaker has been tripped or if there is something preventing your dishwasher door from fully closing.
