Dishwasher Repair – Omaha, Lincoln, & St. Louis

Remember when the only way to wash the dishes was by hand? Maybe not, but some of us do and it’s no fun. When your dishwasher stops working, it means more work for you. Today’s dishwashers are very well made but they do have problems and wear out over time.

A new dishwasher can cost $400 to $700 depending on the model. The good news is if your dishwasher stops working it doesn’t mean you need to spend hundreds of dollars on a new one. Andy’s Appliance Repair’s factory certified dishwasher techs can repair your dishwasher in the same day and save you time, money, and relieve you of hand washing dishes.

When Do You Need Dishwasher Repair Service?

There are a variety of common dishwasher issues that can warrant a service call and repair for your dishwasher. Here’s a list of some of the most common reasons you might need a dishwasher repair:

Dishwasher Not Cleaning Well – A variety of reason can contribute to this including a malfunctioning strain screen, sprayer arms, or door gasket.

Noisy Dishwasher – A defective pump, wash arm seal, or bearing ring are all possible culprits. Malfunctioning spray arms are also a possibility.

Dishwasher Not Draining – The first thing to look at in this case is the check valve in the drain sump. If it’s not that, it’s likely the pump or motor.

Leaking Dishwasher – A cracked or damaged drain hose could be the cause of a leak, or a defective pump or seal.

Dishwasher Won’t Start – Bad or faulty fuses and circuit breakers are the first places to look. Faulty latch doors can also lead to a non-starting dishwasher.

Dishes Not Drying – Typically when your dishes aren’t drying it means the heating element is out.

Frequently Asked Questions about Dishwasher Repair

Which dishwasher brands can you service?

We can service all dishwasher makes and models.

Will my warranty be voided if I hire you to repair my dishwasher?

No, we are factory certified to perform repairs on appliances still under warranty. Additionally we only use OEM original parts on repairs.

Why isn’t my dishwasher draining all the way?

It could be your pump seal, faulty latch on the door, a clogged drain hose, or an electrical problem.

Why isn’t my dishwasher fully drying my dishes?

The problem could be as simple as an overloaded dishwasher. Make sure to leave space between dishes. Opening the door for a few minutes to let out trapped condensation helps too. If you try these steps and your dishes are still very wet after a heat dried load then you may have an issue that needs professional attention.

Do you offer a warranty on your dishwasher repair service?

Yes. All parts and labor are backed by a one year warranty. We only use OEM original parts.
