Frequently Asked Questions about Dacor Appliances

How do you unlock a Dacor oven?

Hold down the cancel button for 10-20sec. Depending on model it may even beep to let you know its completed and unlocked.

Why won’t my Dacor oven heat up after self-cleaning?

The problem is that the switch sometimes trips when you self-clean the oven, because of the high temperature used during the cleaning cycle. The self-clean cycle heats the oven to 800 degrees to burn off spills and residue. If this happens, you can reset the thermal switch by pressing the red reset button.

Why does my Dacor wall oven keep beeping?

When the ERC senses a short circuit in the oven temperature sensor for 16 temperature conversions in a row, F-3 will appear in the digits and a beeping will be heard. If the alarm does not go away after pressing the cancel key the problem could be the sensor and wiring.

How can I reset my Dacor oven range?

Open the oven door and remove the vent across the top of the oven where the door latch assembly is. Remove the vent panel. Just behind the latch assembly is a 1″ round black and silver device with a tiny red button on it. Push the red button hard until it clicks and that should reset the switch.

Where is the model number on a Dacor range?

The model and serial tag should be located on the frame edge when you open the drawer/bottom front panel or the frame edge when you open the door.
